I didn't start as a web developer.
I spent 20 years in business architecture and consulting — working with organisations across Australia and internationally, solving the kind of structural problems that stop businesses from growing. I know what makes operations work, and I know what breaks them.
About 10 years ago I started getting asked by clients to 'sort out' their websites. What started as a sideline became everything I do now. Not because I got bored of business architecture — but because I realised that for Australian small businesses, the website problem IS the business problem.
A tradie with a broken contact form is losing jobs. A retailer whose checkout stopped working is losing revenue. A consultant whose site looks like it was built in 2011 is losing credibility. These are business problems. I solve them.
I run HELP4BIS as a solo operation with occasional specialist contractors. You deal with me directly. I know your site because I built it or because I've been managing it. There's no 'ticket gets assigned to whoever's on shift' — it's just me, doing the work I said I'd do.
